It was a win in the first game from new head coach Ryan Lorenzo and his assistants. The Wahkiakum Mules volleyball team lost a lot of seniors last year, and with a turnout of 18 athletes this season, Coach Kayli Hurley, who spent some time going over defensive positions with the team on Tuesday, is looking forward to watching the core group that is left to "step into big leadership roles" and "seeing the younger girls grow into new roles with the team."
